Social media continues to change rapidly as the face of marketing shifts from compartmentalized targeting to a more comprehensive, inter-connected strategy of reaching one’s audience.  And with the development of YouTube, viral videos and web streaming, captioning and transcription services allows your project to reach a larger audience share.

Transcription service professionals provide captioning services for a multitude of media outlets that are not just for the deaf and hard of hearing.  Webcasts enable your users to receive your message anywhere – on a plane, in coffee shops, or at work. But often the audio doesn’t work or the place is too noisy. Captioning ensures that the user gets the full benefit of your message, even when the environment, such as a busy airport, makes it difficult to hear the broadcast over a mass of ambient noise interference.  Search engines are now able to index archived videos utilizing a specific program’s captioning. With searchable video content, it’s become vital that all names and terms are spelled and located correctly so you can be found on the web base on your video media.

It begins with sending in your file in nearly any format and we import this file into a transcription services digital captioning system. These experts are capable of handling your encoding and authoring. If someone else is managing the authoring process, they will create all the necessary files (caption/subtitle and audio description) complete with time stamps and send it back to you.

Captioning Services in foreign language are commonly referred to as subtitling, which is an effective way for your message to reach multiple audiences. Whether you’ve got a foreign-language video or a DVD for international distribution, we know how to meet your needs, from translation to finding the right font for each language

These experienced transcription service pros are known for reliability and quality. When you send them a program to be subtitled, you know that every version, no matter what language, will look just right and conform to industry standards. No two authoring systems are alike. They can deliver your subtitles in a format, including text and timing data, that your authoring system can easily import and use.

There are three types of styles used in foreign language captioning and subtitling.

 1. Roll-up or scroll-up or scrolling: The words appear from left to right, up to one line at a time; when a line is filled, the whole line scrolls up to make way for a new line, and the line on top is erased. The captions usually appear at the bottom of the screen, but can actually be placed anywhere to avoid covering graphics or action.  2. Pop-on or pop-up or block: A caption appears anywhere on the screen as a whole, followed by another caption or no captions. This method is used for most pre-taped television and film programming.

3. Paint-on:  The caption, whether it is a single word or a line, appears on the screen letter-by-letter from left to right, but ends up as a stationary block like pop-on captions. This format is rarely used today.
